More or less safe to use sunscreen for the face without dangerious sun filters.
I used the whole bottle this summertime for full day gardening, and I can prove it did not irritated eyes or skin, and it was very effective in terms of protection. White cast is almost not noticeable, epsecially if you have a fair complection, but in case you're tanned I am afraid the white cast will be seen!
Please note that the same sunscreen without word MILD in the name, is another story and has dangerious filters, so make sure you purchase namely MILD version for sensitive skin!
