Carcinine dihydrochloride 脫羧肌肽
Carcinine Dihydrochloride

Brief Introduction:
As we all know, Carnosine is a naturally occurring dipeptide with excellent free radical scavenging and anti-glycosylation affection.

Decarboxy Carnosine HCL is derived from carnosine by decarboxylation, which not only continues carnosine's ability to scavenge free radicals and resist glycosylation, but also improves its own properties and is more stable than carnosine in a specific physiological environment.

English Name: Carcinine dihydrochloride
CAS No 57022-38-5
MW: 255.14
MF: C8H14N4O·2HCl

Biological activity
Carcinine (β-alanyl histamine) is a selective histamine H3 antagonist, 100-1000-fold selective for H3 over H2 and H1, that also functions as an antioxidant and as a chemical chaperone to reduce non-enzymatic glycation of proteins and maintain native folding of proteins.

Mechanism
1. Scavenging free radicals, anti-oxidation
Decarboxylated carnosine has the effect of capturing hydroxyl radicals, elemental oxygen and hydrogen peroxide radicals, it can inhibit lipid oxidation caused by non-metallic ions and stably protect cell membranes.

2. Anti-glycation
Glycosylation takes place on the skin, causing collagen to gradually lose its elasticity, forming wrinkles on the skin surface, and yellowing complexion.
Decarboxylated carnosine inhibits of structural proteins glycosylation through two different targets, protecting collagen and elastin.

Function:
1. Scavenging free radicals and anti-oxidation:
2. Anti-glycosylation;
3. Brightening skin tone, removing yellow skin
4. UV and pollutants resistance.
5. Prevent premature skin aging and maintain skin youthful state;

Application:
It Can be added to beauty skin care products, such as lotion, mask, morning and evening cream, eye cream, eye essence, facial essence, muscle foundation, toner, eye mask, gel, etc.
