本品為大分子型陽離子表面活性劑。能與陽離子、非離子和兩性離子表面活性劑有良好的相溶性，具極佳的潤滑性、柔軟性、親水性、成膜性及抗靜電性，對水溶液體有增強拉絲性和增稠、增粘作用；特別適用於透明香波和透明沐浴露等。建議用量為 0.1-0.5%。
